Yes we keep coping it here. Thank God for the Grand Prix, the Australian Open, the great food and coffee. I would have moved to Sydney along time ago otherwise...
Getting tired of melbourne traffic real fast Thank goodness ive only ever worked ten fifteen kays from where ive lived with tram if needed to go in town About thirty years ago - now that hurt typing it down - i got a sales job in The Basin where i only had to go in at end of day and got given car The drive home to west brunswick was an hour after the check was handed to me at end of week i told them - NO CIGAR
Ouch, that's high. $1.149 is the best around the inner west where I normally fill up. East and North are around $1.30+ and further out west it's possible to get even lower, but I'm rarely out that way. This is the link I've got permanently in one browser tab for the areas which consistently have good priced fuel and are close to where I'll often end up driving anyway. https://fuelcheck.nsw.gov.au/app/Fu....8795&longitude=151.138&fuelType=E10&radius=4
We are still being ripped off here in Melbourne, big time! Prices still around the $1.3x even at the cheapest stations. Some serious price gauging by Coles and Woolworths gas stations. ACCC can't see the problem. Go figure. Hows most stations in Sydney?... are they controlled by the big supermarkets?
Not anymore. They are struggling to compete. Coles Express servos have some of the highest prices around usually. Long gone are the days when they offered 8-16 cents off per litre with supermarket special discount offers etc. Now it's mostly just the 4c which is worthless when their rates are so high. Caltex Woolworths are a bit more competitive 7-eleven do a decent job, quite often they aren't far off the cheapest but it varies based on location (some are very high, others very low, and they alternate... head office really plays around with it alot) Its the independent guys like Metro petroleum that consistently have the cheapest rates

Without wasting having another app in your phone slowing it down, this site does the trick. Goes to show how the north of Sydney gets ripped off!
