PAYMENTS AND DETENTION/WAITING TIME

Hi!
I don't know how this system works.
I have never posing anything!
I won't write a lot, because I may not be using this correctly.
I want to say that UBER is bleeding drivers dry!
The charges are all for UBER (25%) and the riders whose charges are stupidly low.
Riders keep us waiting and waiting. They know the charges only start when the Journey begins.
They keep me waiting and waiting.
It is all very unfair.
I want justice!

I am unhappy that UBER gets 25% of all fees upfront!
It is too much!
UBER is making millions.
I just slave away in the Melbourne traffic.
Then one crazy rider complains.
Us drivers have no rights.
UBER treats us worse than slaves!
Truly.
They believe stupid, aggressive riders.
Then I have to defend myself not knowing what the complaint is all about.
It wastes so much time!

I CAN SEE HOW I CAN SAVE TIME AND GET BETTER RIDES.

I know railways stations are absolute traps! Near where I live I often get pings to the R.S. which is 15 minutes away to drive. The person is too lazy to walk a few metres. I have already stopped answering those pings. They meant driving 15 minutes to go 1 km. for $4.50.

You are right too about supermarkets especially in the inner suburbs.

@EUGENE , try this strategy and see if it works for you:

When you get a RS ping, start the trip straight away. You get an additional 15 mins of pay as per your example above.

There are several reasons you could give pax if they ask.

1. The app messed up, Uber will fix it.
2. I lose money on the trip if I don't start it early.
3. You were too far away, it's a form of surge.
