I'm going up to Byron for a few weeks. Any tips on doing Uber up there? Is it worth it? Best time of day? If I get a trip into the Gold Coast can I get one back or do I need QLD plates for that?
Ask @Fetching Is Fun , who works there although he may have gone back to UP (Mr Fetch It) after coming across in that initial recruiting spree that I got my RSDU-moles inside UP to orchestrate. QLD has different rules so Uber won't let you operate there. You'll get a pop up message in-app that says you are not approved in your current location etc. I got it when I was in the USA last year. But ask Fetch for his input.
