Sydney or Melbourne?

    I'll list some of Sydney's rates and you Melbourne fellas can tell us what it is over there.

    The expenses/costs you listed are pretty much the same in Melbourne. The biggest difference in the cost of living will probably be in renting or buying a property in Melbourne vs Sydney.

    Probably double the cost in Sydney when comparing "hot" suburbs.

    Cost to drive to Sydney from my house: $1198 cost to Melbourne:$2446 now that's a cost differential :)

    Driving full time for Uber in Melbourne one should allow for at least $1100 per year in fines and about 4-6 demerit points.

    Lol. I was parked in the bus zone last week. Sgt. Aps drove past and waved and winked at me.

    Got pulled over in mass roadside rbt, SC Williams sees me, "what are you doing here **** go on, get out of here, I'm not wasting my time on you"

    Perks of being a local in a tourist town.

    Does temporarily stopping in a disabled spot without leaving the car count as parking?

    I was under the impression it's not parking unless you've left the car and walked off.

    I think you can stop for a couple of minutes but only for a drop off or pick up.
