Ignore all the scandals for a minute. The real issue with Uber is the gig economy business model, which is helping strip workers of employee rights.

    We know we know

And you know it has from early on struck me that all sorts of governments and authorities are allowing this whole goober thing to roll along albeit with a playing it hard to get fashion
First thing is theyve jumped onto the raw populism of the punx like riding for cheap and love having poor driver at their mercy with fingers hovering over the #1 key probably the only time in their lives they can play overlord on some sucker
Two is by riding for real cheap a lot more public get to do this therefore the gst and state gov vig (surcharges baby) start to balloon - ching ching
Three is once a year riders cant complain much about lack of losers to take em home on nye
You know no barrier to entry and all
Four is their subsidies to invalid passengers now get discounted thanx very much - coming soon
Five is take little bit pressure off having to provide u beaut 24/7 pub trans as this costs a flamin fortune even at a very basic and logical level costing billions
Six is really part of point two which is to do with being cheap enough to almost convince the drunks and chufers to not drive their own

    Enough points?

The main one is the surcharge which has been craftily introduced and will remain in perpetuity to milk for ever and a day all the poor suckers doing this
Greedy filthy government is using the gig economy to load up

    Take home message?

    CASH IS KING
